Our family of 9 was visiting the Twin Cities for Thanksgiving. On Saturday evening, the day before we were planning on driving home to South Carolina, our transmission went out. Nobody was open until Monday. I chose Lenfer based on their reviews. They replaced our transmission and got us on the road within 24 hours!!! Randy regularly kept us up to date regarding progress. I've never had a better experience automotive experience. Thank you very much.

I had my transmission replaced by another company and from day one it leaked. I took it back six times and they replaced seals and the output shaft but it still leaked all over my driveway. Finally after a year I took my van to Lenfer expecting to pay at least 700.00 to fix but was surprised to get the bill for only 120.00. They said it wasn't the transmission that was leaking but the speedometer seal. Awesome. would not recommend C& G Automotive in mounds view.

Great service. Sarah and Randy both went the extra mile for me in fixing my two temperamental cars. Sarah was able to get the engine computer for our 10-year-old Volvo reprogrammed so the check-engine-light stops coming on for no reason. Also performed the same magic for our Ford Explorer with a quarter of a million miles on it.

The service was done on time and with a description of the work accomplished - with a smile.

Randy and Sarah are outstanding to work with. The quality of work and the service is exceptional, as always. I have brought my cars to Randy for years and I have shared their great service with many friends and family. It is good to have an honest and quality auto repair shop that I can lean on when the inevitable happens!

Great work on replacing my axle seal--and reasonably priced compared to two other quotes I received. I also had them look at my power steering pump which I thought it was a little "whiny"-they recommended not doing anything at this time (1 $400+ cost).
